  • 2½ teaspoons instant dry yeast
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • 3⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Warm almond milk until lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast over and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Combine sugar, canola oil, flour, and salt into the yeast mixture. Mix to form a dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth for about 1 hour.
  4. Mix melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread the filling evenly over it.
  6. Tightly roll the dough and cut into 9 equal pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Let rise again for about 30 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for around 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Whisk together powdered sugar, dairy-free milk, and vanilla extract to create the glaze; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
