  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup nut butter
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oat flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; whisk until well mixed.
  3. Add almond milk, applesauce, nut butter, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips gently.
  5. Distribute the batter evenly among the muffin wells (makes about eight muffins).
  6. Bake for 24 to 27 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean.
  7. Allow cooling before enjoying.
