  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan. Microwave until melted, then mix in the eggs until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes until firm around the edges. Let it cool.
  4. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic in a non-stick pan until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer briefly.
  5. In an 8 x 8-inch pan lined with foil, layer pieces of the baked cheese mixture, ricotta cheese, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella until all ingredients are used.
  6. Bake for another 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges. Cool slightly before serving.
