  • 4 cups broccoli (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (or liquid aminos)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together coconut oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar to create the marinade. Pour over the steak.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and sear for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil and chopped broccoli to the pan along with any leftover marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but crisp.
