  • 1/2 cup hemp protein powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with coconut oil.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together almond flour, hemp protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon (if using), and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together eggs, maple syrup, yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients using a silicone spatula.
  5. Fold in dark chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the batter into the donut molds about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for approximately 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow cooling for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
