  • ½ pound Italian sausage (substitute with chicken/turkey)
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into thick slices)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage (substitute with chicken/turkey) until fully cooked.
  2. Add marinara sauce to the skillet, stirring well before letting it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Preheat your oven's broiler. Place four ramekins on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon meat sauce into each ramekin as the base layer.
  6. Add ½ cup of the ricotta mixture atop each ramekin followed by another layer of meat sauce.
  7. Top with a slice of mozzarella cheese on each ramekin.
  8. Broil for about 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
