  • 15 maraschino cherries (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together ¼ cup of powdered sugar and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in flour, oats, coconut, walnuts, and salt; gently fold in the chopped cherries.
  4. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop dough portions onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for around 18 minutes or until slightly golden around the edges.
  6. Roll warm cookies in remaining powdered sugar until fully coated.
