  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in water)
  • 5 tbsp butter (for streusel)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for streusel)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for icing)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/21 tsp cinnamon (based on preference for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease muffin tin with softened butter.
  2. Press each cinnamon roll into the muffin cups, creating space for filling.
  3. Prepare apple filling by combining sliced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, and other ingredients. Heat until thickened.
  4. Fill each roll cavity with apple mixture using a slotted spoon.
  5. Mix streusel ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over filled rolls.
